CERTIFICATIONS
FAA Part 107 Certification
Flying a UAV for any commercial use requires certification by the FAA(Federal Aviation Administration). Midsouth Mapping obtained FAA Part 107 Certification in December 2016 and can legally provide aerial mapping and photography. We firmly adhere to FAA recommendations for the safe use of drones. As a Part 107 certificate pilot, the maintenance of aircraft and safe operation is taken very seriously in the operation of our UAV's.
Licensed Land Surveyor
Midsouth mapping is operated by a Land Surveyor, registered in AR, MS, and TN with 30 years of experience in surveying. We understand the requirements of many types of surveys. And we recognize the value that current, accurate aerial photogrammetry can deliver.
Matt is a Registered Land Surveyor in Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee, and has over 30 years of experience in survey and mapping. Also a Licensed Civil Engineer, he has managed survey, design, and construction projects of all sizes and complexity.
